Title: "Study on Inter Buildup Sediments: Transition from Upper Phase 2 to Upper Silt Unit onlapping Phase 3".

I am working on Upper Cambrian Microbial Reefs exposed along Llano and James Rivers in Mason County Texas. These Reefs provide and excellent analog of microbial reservoirs offshore Angola and Brazil discovered in recent years. My talk will focus on my work towards understanding the inter reef sediments. I will focus on the geochemical and diagenetic studies that I have performed on the cores and thin sections I obtained from the outcrop. My aim is to understand the factors that led to demise of the reefs and also how these reefs were impacting the sediments around them. This study is crucial in understanding the reservoir connectivity and porosity evolution in microbial reef reservoirs. My work is part of Microbial Consortium being supported by several Oil companies.
